Mark’s Pest Control has been serving the Williamsburg and Peninsula areas since 1995.

We are members of the Virginia Pest Management Association, Tidewater Pest Control Association, The National Pest Management Association and the Williamsburg Chamber of Commerce.

We have the best pest control company in Williamsburg by The Daily Press Choice Awards every year since 2004!

We have also placed as one of the top pest control companies by The Virginia Gazette readers every year since 2004.

The Owner

Mark Woodward started the company as the only employee in 1995. He would call customers from the truck each day and did paper work in the evening. Needless to say, we have come a long way since then, thanks to the loyal customers that have stuck with us and referred their friends and relatives. We now have eight full time service technicians plus seasonal positions in the summer. This allows us to provide our clients with the small business approach of personalized customer service.

We now service hundreds of home owners in Williamsburg, James City County, Toano, Lanexa, New Kent County, Charles City, Yorktown, Newport News and Hampton. We also treat many of the area’s finest hotels, restaurants and other businesses.

Jill Cox is the the business manager at Mark’s Pest Control. She graduated from VCU and joined our company in 2004, when there were just 3 employees. Jill is Mark’s sister and left a medical business office in Richmond to join the team at Mark’s Pest Control. Jill has been with us for over 20 years.

The Office Staff

Lisa Dale joined Mark's Pest Control in April of 2024 as our

scheduling coordinator. She came to us with many years of experience in administration in the veterinary field. She makes the appointments each day to keep the technician's routes organized and flowing smoothly.

Ginny Dettor joined Mark's Pest Control in 2023 as an administrative assistant. She has transitioned into billing and will usually be the first voice you hear when calling. She has a background in banking, accounting, and pest control. She loves animals, boating, and spending time on the Chesapeake Bay and the Northern Neck.

Macie and Cypress are our office mascots! They enjoy coming to work with Jill and both of them take the roll as The Official Greeter very seriously. They especially love getting attention from our technicians and visitors. If you come to our office, be sure to stop by for a visit and a little pet therapy.

Registered Pest Control Technicians

All of our registered pest control technicians hold a registered pest control technician certificate. We attend continuing education seminars regularly to stay on top of new information and techniques in the pest control field. We do our very best to stay on top of changes in the industry, and to provide excellent customer service.
